A milk cake tray is a soft sponge soaked in a rich milk mixture, then finished with cream and the flavour topping. It is served chilled for the best texture and taste.

Keep it in the fridge as soon as it arrives, and keep it covered once opened.

Best enjoyed within 24 to 48 hours for peak flavour and texture. It keeps a little longer in the fridge, but the sponge softens over time.

We do not pre-cut milk cake trays. The sponge is soaked and soft, so slices can merge in transit. For the neatest portions, slice it chilled at home.

Freezing: possible, but the texture can change once defrosted because it is soaked with milk. Defrost overnight in the fridge.
