Delivery and Collection Policy

Where we deliver

We hand-deliver cakes ourselves within East London and nearby Essex. We cover these postcode districts: E1, E2, E3, E4, E6, E7, E10, E11, E12, E13, E14, E15, E16, E17, E18, E20, IG1 to IG9, IG11, and RM1 to RM13. Use the postcode checker on any product page to confirm your address. We do not post cakes or ship nationwide.

Delivery fee

Local delivery costs £4.99 per order. Collection from Dagenham (RM9 5UD) is free.

Choosing your date and time

Every cake is baked to order. After adding a cake to your cart, choose delivery or collection, then pick your date and time slot in the cart. The picker only shows dates and slots we can currently take, and an order cannot be placed without one. If you need a date that is not shown, or a large order, contact us and we will tell you what we can do.

On the day

Please make sure someone is available at the address during your chosen slot. Cakes are perishable, so we cannot leave them unattended or in a safe place without your agreement. We may call the number on your order when we arrive.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the address is wrong or incomplete, or nobody is available, we will try to contact you. A redelivery fee may apply, and the delivery fee is not refundable once an attempt has been made.

Collection

Collection is from Cake Trays, 16 Boxoll Road, Dagenham, RM9 5UD, at the time slot you chose in the cart. Please bring your order number. Large or tiered cakes travel best flat in a car footwell or boot, not on a seat.

Ordering from outside the UK

You are welcome to order from abroad. Enter the UK address of the person receiving the cake at checkout and pay by international card. Prices are in pounds sterling; your bank converts them.
