The smooth pastel blue and yellow buttercream base is painted with soft watercolour-style strokes and decorated with a charming teddy bear topper sat on a cloud, fondant cloud shapes, miniature blue and gold star accents and clusters of balloon-style spheres on either side. A fondant toy car sits at the base adding a final playful touch that makes the whole design feel like a little storybook scene. Your child's name and a gold "One" plaque are piped and placed on the front to make it personal.

Underneath the whimsy is a soft moist sponge in your choice of flavour, layered with smooth buttercream throughout. Can I personalise the cake with my child's name?
Yes. Add your child's name and any special instructions in the field provided before adding to cart. Custom name toppers may take up to 4 days to prepare and may incur an extra charge. Contact us on WhatsApp if you need something confirmed before ordering.

Can I change the age shown on the cake?
Yes. The standard design shows a gold "One" plaque for a first birthday. If you need a different number for a second, third or other birthday, add your request in the special instructions field. Additional charges may apply for custom plaques.

Can I change the colour scheme?
The standard design is pastel blue and yellow. If you would like a different colour palette such as pink for a baby girl or neutral tones, add your preference in the special instructions field. Darker colours may incur an extra charge. Call us on 0208 054 4703 to confirm before ordering.

Are the decorations edible?

How far in advance should I order?
Available delivery dates and time slots are shown at checkout. Because this cake involves a personalised name and custom decorations we recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance for the best choice of dates. If you have any questions, contact us directly.

What sponge flavours are available?
You can choose your sponge flavour and cream type from the options above. All are layered with smooth buttercream and baked fresh to order.

How many people does the cake serve?
The 6 inch serves an average of 8 to 13 people, the 8 inch serves an average of 16 to 26 people and the 10 inch serves an average of 26 to 38 people. All sizes are baked fresh to order.
